I planned to use an off-beat word today, but chickened out and used a vowel-rich word - and got skunked - LOL! My inspired word would have gotten me one green. I should relax and just use fun words to start with, but… my brother plays real early, so I have his results by the time I play. It’s hard not to try to beat his score! ;-)

My board looks a lot like yours @junebug17. I had to look at all the letters left in the alphabet to figure out what the right word was! :lol:
@VRBeauty, I have started off with really random words with uncommon letters the past two days. Even though it's taken me more guesses than when I used the three vowel words, I think it's more fun! And I did luck out today with one of the correct vowels in my first word. ;)2

I've discovered it's actually fairly easy to solve the word once you've ruled out twelve letters already! :lol-2::lol-2::lol-2:
And the annoying part is that my third guess today was my really random starting word yesterday!

I really didn't think I was going to get it today. I was just drawing a blank after my second guess. My third guess was a "well, I guess this could be it" guess and I didn't think it would actually be correct. 0128.jpg

I got pretty lucky with round 3..... seems like the elimination method works best for me! :twisted2:

I thought Wordle 3 was more of a "really???" than Wordle 2. :lol:
And Wordle 7 is the only word so far that I didn't solve.

Does everybody play in hard mode where any revealed hints must be used in subsequent guesses?

i didn't know there were different modes. But I always use the revealed hints in the subsequent guesses (unless I screw up and forget!). I'll set it to hard mode b/c then maybe it won't let me screw up.
