Do these proportions work?

I am creating a bezel set bracelet section by section as I save the funds. I already have the centre stone. It’s round 6.14mm. I now have the opportunity to buy matching pear cut diamonds for either side of the centre round. They are 4.1mm x 6.5mm. I am planning to have the wide end next to the centre & the pointy end facing the rest of the bracelet.

Do you think the proportions of these pears will work with my centre? Will they look too small next to it or just right? Do you think I need pears with a width matching the centre?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I can’t see the stones in person so am finding it hard to picture the end result.

Thank you very much.

Can you make a sketch of what your envisioning?

When it is eventually finished I see it as something like this - bezel set. 72385DF1-A54B-4D69-9E14-2102EBB5476F.jpeg

That’s going to be gorgeous!

So it will be made up of all bezel set rounds after the center and pears?

The pears l are slightly wider at the fat end than the center round stone is. But the bezel around the center stone could be a little thicker or add milgrain to make it appear the three stones were the same width.

How wide will the other diamonds be? And how are you doing this project in sections? Are you wearing it while each section is being saved up for/assembled? Is each section going to slide on a chain/cable (like a pandora) or be hinged/articulated like a traditional tennis bracelet?

What a pretty design. :-) I might consider a fine double bezel around the round stone to give it some emphasis as I think the pears might be a touch too wide.

Thanks for your replies so far. Maybe I wrote the pear dimensions in the incorrect order. The wide part of the pear is 4.1mm and it is 6.5mm long.

I already have the center stone set in a simple bezel bracelet that I wear.

I am hoping to add the pears in and wear it as I save for the rest.

I am also hoping it will be joined like a traditional tennis bracelet or as close to that as possible.

As for the smaller rounds I am thinking 12pt??? Maybe slightly bigger. Those sections are a long way off so I haven’t decided on the size yet.

If you will make it to scale, the pears would be smaller since they are 4mm vS 6.14 of the round and they are just a bit longer than the diameter of the round.
This will make the round the main diamond as it should be.

Sounds kicken!
