Or maybe this place is in cahoots with Mr. 17,000 carats. I think I could find a way to sell stones at 22% back if I hadn't paid for the stock in the first place.

As furthermore said before, yes it's possible to buy at that price...

I did it and will do it again on a small business level... the only way to do it is to buy close
to the source as possible...and the more your buying power, the closer
you'll get to the source UNLESS you can find someone who has
a huge inventory and wants to transform it fast in $$$. That's where the
consumer will find some discount.

Are you guys completely missing my point?

You don't have to go to freaking Antwerp to get decent AGS h&a ideals at 20 back.

Just hang out on pricescope a little while

. Takes some patience, and at that price it won't be one of those blindingly perfectly symmetrical stones with the perfect minor facets and the precious price. But they're out there, and the tradeoff is reasonable and should be considered.

Furthermore,

Duvel is a good beer!
Did you try the Chimay?

This was a pretty dull thread till now.

I just loved the Trappist beers!!

And we had a stew cooked in beer that was to die for.

Paul from Antwerp took us on a walking tour and we saw the beautiful side of Antwerp - we had both been there before but only to the diamond district which is very ho-hum.

Can't wait to get back again.

Grimbergen Blonde and Triple.... well, when you find a good thing like Grimbergen and Duvel, there just isn`t time to try anything else. ;-)))))))))))

Need to try the Duvel, but Grimbergen is pretty good stuff

, have to pack some to go when I travel since it's not sold in my town. The triple style is a little over the top for me, but I bet it's great with a cigar

Those stones at 20-some back really aren't that difficult...for the same friend in the same week, found a nice 91 pointer D-VS2 with "ideal Holloway" proportions (40.5 pavilion, 33.9 crown) in the mid-fours, looked great but because it was vg/vg was nicely discounted.

Pricescope is an awesome resource

You really need to try the Chimay (the blue one).
But drink it at home, it's to dangerous to drink it outside!

Now we`ve all agreed we can get stones at 20-22 back on Rap, shall we let Stephan retire gracefully ? ;-))))))) He has some insane Trappist beer to drink, the poor fella. ;-))))))

20-22 for AGS-0, 35-40 for fine trade cut...

Furthermore, why don't you talk about Begian chocolate?
Do you find it insane, too?
