diamond price

Hi everyone, I am new here so please if I say something wrong or not too sure of things, forgive me in advance. I am looking for a round cut diamond below 4k and I have a quote on one but am needing some help and opinions. Is it a good price, do you think I can find a better one cheaper?

EGL grades, uhm, generously.
If that "G SI2" diamond went to GIA or AGS it probably would have gotten lower grades, like H I1, I I2 or worse.

Stick with diamonds graded by GIA or AGS.
They are not more expensive; they are just accurately graded.
