Diamond opinion

I am updating that the stone you offered me is in India,
the supplier told me that it would be a difficult task to bring it to me and he does not promise me that it is possible.

He offered me this stone (in stock)
what do you think?

GIA - 1483569629

0.76 / E / VS1

you can find the stone in jamesallen..
For some reason I can't post the link without admin permission

That's right, it's the stone.

Is this a good stone?
does she look good? (CUT)
Is it worth buying?

by the way Why isn't all the diamond data listed in the HCA?

JA stones specs don't seem to feed over to the HCA display page
You could nit pick any of them (the E appears to have some internal graining) but I think at this point you have some great choices (and given the Intl Airflights @ India not resuming until March ?)
Maybe put the zooms side by side and let them rotate for awhile - see which one "speaks to you" and that would be the one...

I understand..
in terms of performance are the two stones good?

I'll probably have no choice but to go for the E because it's in stock.

*I will try to check with him if he has larger stones with the same qualities.

I received another offer for a larger stone but I could not find a picture of the stone..
Maybe someone can help with the picture/Performance?

0.85 / G / VVS2

GIA 2377339861

I cant find images of the .85 G ...however if executed well it could be great..
i actually have similar proportions... mine's a tad deeper (faces up little smaller for wt) but it has lots of fire !

mine...

i will ask him for photo.. :)
by the way What about performance? (HCA score)

HCA is not available free... you would need buy it's score...
but mine w/ similar proportions is 1.3 so your G would likely be under 2 / Excellent as well....

He has no pictures to show me.
my only way to see this stone is only by seeing it with my own eyes.

In summary there are 2 stones:

GIA - 1483569629
0.76 / E / VS1

&

0.85 / G / VVS2
GIA 2377339861

well, both have potential to be great proportion wise so let your eyes decide.....

I hope that with the phone's camera I will be able to see if the large stone (0.85) is well cut like the 0.76 we saw in the picture.

but I'm afraid the G color is yellowish.

unless you or the recipient are very, very color sensitive a G would not be considered 'yellow'. First is white, then a creamy color (think vanilla ice cream) which for most folks is around 'J'. Yellow starts (very pale) around L-M or so.

I'll take a look and decide.
The meeting is on Thursday morning.
I really hope that the stones I'm going to see are good.. (0.76 & 0.85)

If he offers me additional stones before the meeting, of course I will update here.

Thank you very much everyone, you helped me a lot :)

a new offer here..

0.78 / F / VVS2

GIA - 2507582243

have no picture.. but HCA score is only 1.4 (two VG)

0.78.jpg

Okay, the meeting will be on Thursday, I will try to take a picture of the 0.85 and upload it here..
Right now I prefer the 0.76 because it got a good score and we also saw a picture of the stone on the JamesAllen website

On the one hand, the 0.76 received a good score, E color and we saw a picture and the cut is excellent.
But it is VS1 and the size is small.

On the other hand, the 0.85 is larger with VVS2 and G color which is considered less good.
Its HCA score is less good and we haven't seen a picture yet.

I was able to find a picture of the 0.85 diamond on the StoneAlgo website.
Write down the GIA certificate and then see the picture of the stone.
what do you think?

Here is another comparison and scores.

I would appreciate your opinion regarding the image of the diamond itself (0.85) from the previous message.332.jpg
As I mentioned it can be seen on the stonealgo website331.jpg

It's looks milky... hard to tell how bad it is without a moving video... Sometimes there's a reason (not good) if the stone is "camera shy" with no images/videos online.

So I will try to take the picture myself..
If not then I will buy the 0.76

What do you think about the next stone?
My supplier will probably be able to get it for me.
GIA 1503147494
You can see a picture on BLUENILE.

It's a bit of a spready cut that will favor towards brilliance, but it should be a great performing diamond.

that's pretty good - could have been cut bit tighter but probably the best one he's offered up... faces up large so bonus with that...that will look fantastic !
Its a JA true Hearts stone as well... (JA and BN are sister companies under SIgnet)

thanks everyone,

I will update if I bought the 0.76 that in stock (1483569629) or wait for the 0.91 that I showed here.

I will definitely consider them too.. even though I'm afraid of the G color..

On the other hand, their clarity is better..

By the way I hope all the stones offered to me here have a good HCA score

We'll wait until tomorrow and then we'll be smarter

I have 2 .3ct G side stones beside my E center stone - there is no light in which you could tell they are not all completely colorless.

Eliminate the .85 I don’t like the cut.

The .76 has potential.

The .91 is gorgeous if you can get it that would be my choice for the added size.

G color looks blazing white to all but the most color discerning people and even then only in direct comparison with another D/E.

I want to thank everyone who helped me!
I am updating that I have purchased James Allen's Hearts and Arrows stone.
(0.91 / VVS2 / G)

Now I just have to choose a solitaire design (4 Prong -14K White Gold)
I would love to receive pictures of beautiful designs so that I can send the sample to the jeweler.

Of course, after I receive the ring (next week) I will upload a picture of it here :)

I wojld buy the .91 with zero hesitation
