With your living overseas and returns being difficult, as well as for peace of mind, I'd go with either the 0.414 Whiteflash "I" color or pay ~$50 more for this one if you're still nervous about color: http://www.whiteflash.com/loose-diamonds/round-cut-loose-diamond-3621241.htm

You'll be able to find a nice handful of diamonds with numbers only (and possibly pictures) from BN or elsewhere that may very well be beautiful, but there's no doubt with those thanks to the information provided. :))

The image looks good on the Ritani stone. Can Blue Nile get you a magnified image? I know they can't do idealscope but I know they sometimes provide magnified images.

Also, have you ruled out the Blue Nile VVS stone that the rep recommended?

As it is Blue Nile ideal Signature diamonds, they do not provide with the better magnified images (the only real one is in GCAL certificate).

The vvs you mentioned is sold.

Thanks

And the price aspect :

BN : 935 USD
WF: 960 USD
Ritani: 867 USD

HCA:

BN: 1.0
WF: 1.4
Ritani: 0.9

These don't matter, as long as they're under 2. (That is to say that a 0.9 isn't better than a 1.4 or vice-versa.)

I think you've got three really good options. Much, much better than the options you started out with. Whether the extra cut info is worth the extra $ is up to you.

Yeah, I've learned a lot of about perfect diamonds with you guys!

The difference between the most expensive and the cheapest diamond I have chosen is about 100USD. Is it really that much difference between those diamonds in quality, which is expressed in the price?

I assume, that BN (even in 10x image) and WF diamond is ideal Hearts&Arrows.
The Ratani one is also ?
Is Ratani one has any disadvantages?

E B, Pfunk, what do you think?

Regards!

I think the three you're already considering will be nicer (plus, that one seems to have a large feather on the table and may not be eye-clean).

If it were me, with the difference just shy of $100, I'd probably go for the Whiteflash diamond knowing it's a top of the line cut. That may be a cool thing to tell your fiance. If you're pushing the budget as it is, the Ritani looks like it'd be a very pretty diamond too, as does the Blue Nile Signature Ideal. Are you planning to have it set locally, or through the diamond vendor?

Firstly I thought about set in local vendor, and I think I will do that way.

Do you recommend BN/ WF/ Ritani for purchasing from additional setting to the diamond?

I am thinking about solitare one kind of that (with 4 prones):

But after few talks with jewellery advisors , they recommended me to buy the setting with 6 prones (to avoid the diamond lose - it will be safer)

What do you think?

For me the most important is the brilliance of the diamond, its sparkles and fire :)

BN has provided me with the photo. What do you think?

The WF is the smallest, the most expensive and has one tiny brown spot which can be seen on the video.

I have gotten the impression that you like the bigger weight/size of the Ritani diamond. While I don't think it will be easy to tell it is bigger than the alternatives, the image looks real promising. It could have been a little bigger if it wasn't hiding a little weight in the girdle and it is cut a touch deep. Overall I like its proportions (similar to my wife's engagement diamond) and think it will be a beautiful diamond. Based on what your preferences are and your comments so far, I would pick the Ritani.

Hi All,

I have managed to spend some more money for ideal diamond. Now what I'm looking for is the ideal cut diamond, eye clean , H-I colour and about 0.5 ct :)

Could you please help me to choose this ideal one round diamond?

Thanks!

It looks very nice, but shipping cost is too high (140USD :wall: )

What about this I mentioned before E B ?

Hi All,

Could you please tell me something about the below diamond ?

The price is almost the same as Ritani one (still considering it!)

Here are all necessary info about new diamond (please note that it is J):

GIA report:

The Ritani would be my pick between the two.

The Ritani stone looks very nice! Though I thought you were hoping for a 0.5 carat + stone?
Also, I think a 4 prong setting is fine in a stone that size!

Sorry, my bad, you can't use refer a friend discount for Europe anyway! Oh, what did BN say about fluorescence?
