"Very Good" translates to "Not Good Enough" if you're looking for a well-cut diamond...
Does your girlfriend (or whoever the ring is for) WANT a European cut? They are very different than round brilliants, I wouldn't buy one unless she specifically requested one or loves antiques.
Bottom line, I'd go to a different jeweler. Either an online one OR I'd look at if any PS vendors or carriers of Crafted by Infinity diamonds are near you. Because what you're being shown isn't what you want at all.
