I''m just kicking back and reading. TGuy has been out of town for 3 days. Love it. Ha.

That''s good to go back to the "other" threads. I''ll be reading them over the weekend. Everyone was a good sport, but I also sure everyone has strong opinions about the debate tonight. And that''s a good thing!

Personally, I wasn''t impressed with either one tonight. But I agree with the conclusion that McCain edges out Obama on foreign policy and it was a tie (because both didn''t address the question) on the economic side.

It was good to blow off some steam. Not to say that we don''t need ''proper'' commentary and criticism - and as I said, I look forward to reading more of that tomorrow as I am sure everyone has something to say. But it was nice to watch the debate with people enjoying themselves a bit. Just because we take this stuff seriously doesn''t mean we have to take ourselves so seriously, KWIM?

I'm exactly on the same page. You just voiced what I'm thinking.

As much as I hate to admit this....McCain sounded more ....what's the word I'm looking for.....more...not relaxed, but more, down to earth than I thought he would. I don't want to say I think he won the debate, because it was soooooooooo boring, but I do think he revived his image and the debate was a draw.

Back to your booze...personally, I don't have any and I shouldn't be having it anyway, but dang, I really could use a piece of Holly's pizza.

DH got pumpkin and peanut butter fro-yo. we each ate half and then switched. it''s the best of both worlds

As I recall, this afternoon you set the groundrules and told us what we would be having. Did you forget to go to the store? I didn''t get back to town until 7:15, raced to the store, and bolted into the house at 8:05. And believe me, that was a flying trip ''cause I work 45 minutes away, and the store is 5 miles away in the opposite direction.
