Being so close to a haven for liberals must be like Alaska facing potential aggression from nearby Russia!!

Well, we are a Red State (that sounds like a Soviet block country, doesn''t it), but there is this itty bitty blue dot in the middle of the state. Austin is definitely liberal. But in a very laid back hippie kind of way. Those lefties don''t bother me!

I have never been ... I''d quite like to visit San Antonio, though!

I''ll be there this time next month! We''re going to celebrate our first anniversary; yippie!

North of the Red River there isn''t even an enclave, and even the dems are to the right by national standards. The DH even got into a discussion with a pollster who asked what his leanings were...he asked the pollster right back "Well, do you mean liberal by by national standards or Oklahoma standards?" The guy was a bit taken aback. They had a fun talk though, said he...

Well, duh. Didn''t you figure I''d be a Fox gal? I just prefer their balanced panel afterwards; they have both Dems and Republicans.

I would have said stuff like "No John, you''re wrong...I DO understand and this is my understanding.....blah, blah"
I would be a little scared.

If I were McCain:

I would have not been so dismissive of Obama and would have looked Obama in the eye.
