I echo platinum as well. The wear & tear on a bracelet can be significant, and platinum will hold up its metal color far better than white gold, which has to be replated. Plus, I like the way platinum looks vs white gold.
If it's any encouragement, jewels2, I'm planning on doing a DBTY necklace with - you guessed it! - 10 pt stones. I think necklaces get far less wear and tear than bracelets, and I'll be using a 1.5mm chain at least. For what it's worth, I also think the bezeled diamond stations on a very fine chain don't look as good as on a slightly more robust chain; I think a *very* fine chain makes them look sort of lumpy and clumsy. I like a better visual flow than that - delicate, but diamonds and chain still on the same page, visually. And 1.5 is hardly heavy, so I think it would be fine.
My bracelet has 15 pt stones and the chain is 1.5mm. I was told Tiffany used 1.5mm chain, but you might want to verify that. I think 1mm is too thin for a bracelet, but I would see if there is an option like 1.25, perhaps.
I called Tiffany cs and was told their chain is 1mm. I actually have a Tiftany dbty bracelet but it is in silver. The chain IS very fine, actually I break it a lot soooo maybe a 1.5mm would be better.
I just wasn't sure if 1.5 was too big for only 10 pt diamonds.
I do love diamondseekers bracelet
