I’ve been admiring these types of pieces for the longest time. Does anyone know of a jewelry maker in the US who has the high level goldsmithing skills required to create these? And also uses recycled gold? I thought of David Klass, but I’m doubtful on both counts.

I haven’t heard of Cicada. I’ll check into them. Thanks!

Does CVB use recycled gold?

I think you would pay a lot less having one made in India. Is there a reason you want the goldsmith to be in the US?

Are there Indian vendors you could suggest, who also use recycled gold?

Not directly, but if I were trying to do it I would ask a few people for advice and if they could please recommend one or more goldsmiths to make a "temple style" gold bracelet for you. Then I would contact the goldsmiths and ask if they will use recycled gold.

https://www.instagram.com/southindia_jewels/ this account advertises across many jewelers (gold, silver, artificial/fashion), mostly South Indian Temple style jewelry (in keeping with your kada) and I do know the silver jewelers they advertise are legit and high quality.

https://www.instagram.com/silver_jewellery_nakodapayals/ they retail hand made silver versions of temple style jewelry, I bought quite a bit from them and was very very happy. They must know some great goldsmiths.

Warning: these accounts may also give you more design ideas, or open up a dangerous addiction!!

Thank you Polyhex! The temple style workmanship on these accounts is incredible!
