I posted a little while ago that I was looking at this danhov setting, but someone (and some others on other forums) mentioned it is too delicate and prone to damage. I really do love the style, but have found two other options that are similar in style.
If you have any other ideas, I would be open to seeing them!

What I love about the Danhov IS how delicate it is. The other ones are bit clunkier looking, but I don't want it to break right away.

1. Danhov

2. Gabriel Contemporary Criss Cross

Ok first I will say that I voted for setting number 2. I think the others, while pretty, would catch on things.

That being said... I love the setting that Niel posted. It has the look of the other two setting but maybe not as high and looks some how more finished then the settings that you posted. I love the milgrain on it though if you wanted it more sleek I would think they would be able to do it without it.

Not sure if I am any help but that is my opinion.

I dont mind that setting, however it doesn't seem quite as sparkly as the other ones (could just be their amazing photos/shop).

When you say catch on things, do you mean the diamonds along the band, or the 'head' (excuse my complete lack of proper verbiage) of the setting?

James Allen uses quality diamond and that setting would be very sparkly.

I vote for the Gabriel and Co. criss cross halo. I've actually been eyeing this setting myself. It still has a classic halo look with a twist of modern.

of the three I prefer the Gabiel & Co I really think you will tire of the first one and I think it is too delicate . You wear this ring every day and it goes through all season meaning scarves gloves, manicures sweaters over the head coats. It would catch on everything

I like the one from James Allen that Niel suggested much more than the other ones and they use great quality pave so I would not worry about the sparkle. If I had to pick from the first 3 that you posted, I prefer the Danhov.

Thank you all for your input :)
