Hi folks!

I am currently on the market looking for a diamond ring for my gf of two years as a gift for our yearly celebration and we have just gone to tiffany n cartier to take a look at their rings...

in our trips, she determined that even 0.3 carat is a bit too big for her to wear daily, and we were looking for settings that are lower in height than typical classic engagement rings (so the ring wont get hooked wearing shirts n stuff)...

I came across blue nile and looked at some of the smaller diamonds and picked out these ones...

I was just wondering whether anyone has any opinion on which diamond would be a better fit and any settings fom blue nile that would be very comfortable and non-bothersome for daily wear...

Hopefully I can have a good experience this time and come back again in the near future for an engagement ring!]

Thank you!!!

whats your budget for the whole ring?

I post this site as a reference for you. I think some of these styles look gorgeous with a small size stone:

Something to bear in mind when choosing a stone is that the eye fairly soon adjusts to the size of the stone you have on your hand. Over time the stone can appear significantly smaller to you than when you first started wearing it.

This looks like a nice option and it is AGS 000 hearts and arrow. The bezel would be easy to wear and not get caught on anything. It also looks nice stacked if you ever want to add a little more bling to the set.

Good luck in your search.

Having lost the centre stone of one of my mum's rings, I swear I would never have anything made with claws ever again.

I would advise half bezel or full bezel settings for a peace of mind.
