I recently purchased the components of my soon-to-be engagement ring for my long time girlfriend. She is in love with cushion cut diamonds so I went that route. The only issue is I really fell in love with a more rectangular cushion (we never really discussed if she likes squared or more rectangular. I am having this set in a Ritani platinum band with .15 diamonds on the band plus a surpise diamond set underneath the cushion (I guess this helps with reflecting light?). Specs on the diamond: GIA 0.91 carat, E, SI1, un-rated cut (due to it being a cushion). Dimensions: 6.39 x 5.25 x 3.59 Length:width 1.22:1.
