Cushion Diamond help

A friend wants a new engagement ring and I've offered to help. She sent me this diamond. Any opinions would be great.

Extra info: Her max budget including the setting is $6500 CDN. She wants a CDN diamond.

Fancy cut diamonds like cushions cannot be bought without images. She needs to find Canadian stones that have pictures of the stone...videos are
a plus. ASET images would also be helpful to check on light return.

I completely understand the appeal of getting a Canadian diamond. However, that will *significantly* limit her choices, and will probably mean not getting the best cut or best performing stone. Most vendors don't specify where stones are from, and brilliant earth usually doesn't sell well cut stones (and/or they horribly overprice everything). I would really ask her to reconsider the requirement of a Canadian stone.
