Cushion Brilliant Help and Advice

Hi all,

I am looking at buying a cushion brilliant diamond. I have my eyes on this one in particular. I wanted to get advice on if this is a quality diamond and if I should be worried about the symmetry being only good. Everything else, at least on paper, seems to say this is a quality diamond. The quote on this diamond is $8,600.

I understand that cushions in general are hard to compare on paper as you need to see them in person to better compare. But I was comparing this one in general to the quality of Tiffany Novos (I know Tiffany can go from I to F in terms of color). I also understand that cushion brilliants are relatively harder to find, but I wanted to see if this was a quality diamond relative to cushion brilliants. Also if I should be concerned about the symmetry being only "good." Finally, if there is anything "wrong" with the diamond, is it noticeable and obvious?

Thanks so much for your help! Love this website by the way....

what do you think about the bow tie?

bow tie? are you referring to the prongs that are sticking out? this is an unfinished ring with a loose diamond in the setting right now. the eventual band and setting will be similar to the one in the picture, but the prongs will obviously be cut down/shaved. these are the only pictures I have of the loose diamond itself right now.
