Ok, the pictures following were taken during the day, and most have 100 degree New Mexican sunlight pumped into them. It's one HOT day and I think I got sunburnt while taking pics!
Ooh it''s so silvery - I love it! Do you want to bring out the pink tones more or the silvery ones? You know I''m all about RG lately - it would look awesome in a RB split shank I think. Or maybe one of those twisted coil/rope settings? I think Sally does bands of that style.
That is a gorgeous gem. Love the pink/peach tint. I would totally have used that for an engagement ring. Got the color changing blue green sapphire instead which is gorgeous too. Should have it back in the ring on Tuesday.
I think silvery BEG. I have a tourm that I'm leaning towards doing something with RG though. A pendant though, because it's blue green, and I have two other blue green tourm rings in the works (eventually). Your twisted coil/rope idea shot me back to a certain setting...I can't freaking find it, but you'll know what I'm talking about with this:
Thanks Souled In, I think it deserves a special setting because it's taken me a long time to find this, and its exactly what I've been looking for for about 3 years. I can't wait to see your blue green sapphire!
I love that. I think my perfect combo would be the first setting but with the second setting''s double claws. Although the stone isn''t huge so the delicacy of the second setting might suit it more. I''m thinking something that looks super delicate to enhance the delicate color the stone? Does that make sense?
