Is it worth paying more for VS as opposed to SI clarity when the diamonds are 1.5 or 2 pointers in a band ring? Does anyone even grade these sizes properly?

If there were a significant price difference I would get the SI. It's hard to see inclusions in tiny stones.

I think it depends on what you would like in the ring. I would be more concerned with the cut in either the VS or SI. In most cases you take the word of the vendor as to clarity & color because the stones are not lab graded.

In many of the rings that Whiteflash & BGD they offer a VS clarity in a F/G color in their premium cuts so you know you are getting nice melee stones, but these are not lab graded. Depending on your budget you can find lesser priced rings with G/H color and SI stones that can look great.

Thanks guys, that answers my questions! I'm looking for a thin band to wear with my e-ring, something like the Whiteflash Petite design. Does anyone have experience of wearing one daily? Are they robust enough?
