How long or when have irradiated true (chrome-green appearance) green diamonds been available? The reason I ask, is that I've just purchased an estate butterfly pendant-necklace. possibly from the 1950's to the 1970's, which is set with various colored gems including emeralds, rubies, sapphires, near colorless diamonds and with what I thought at the time might be green garnets but they thermal test to be diamonds of a rich, true green color.
