I've noticed it takes a while for him to get back to me. I feel like he only answers messages a couple of days out of the week.

They have been on vacation/moving, so it will probably take longer than usual. They normally get back to you within 24 hours, sometimes 48 hours.

Normally they're back to me within 1-2 days. However, they just got back from about a 2-week hiatus, during which they said they'd be answering convos...but they didn't answer mine. In fact, it had me kind of worried for a while. I sent them a diamond, the most expensive thing I've ever entrusted to the USPS, but they didn't answer the convo I sent later asking if it had arrived. To be exact, I sent the diamond on May 3, convo'd them on May 8, then nothing...until they got back from their hiatus on May 17. Two full weeks of worrying about my diamond without hearing anything! So yeah, they're kinda spotty with convos. And thanks for listening to me vent that.

Mariedtiger, thanks for the compliment on my ring! You have such great taste, so I hold your opinion in high regard.

I feel like it's been like that for a while...it's just getting worse and worse. When I first came to CS it was much different--more lighthearted, fun and educational. Now it's...not.

Ah and I heard back from Daniel M, my next project should be done pretty soon now....which is good and bad, seeing as my jewelry budget took a huge hit recently, which meant that I had to scrap one idea (for now) bought a synthetic (that I obviously can't share on PS) and now get to wait to see how the finances go when the DM ring is actually complete...

Lol!

Something that came from Barry B. It's BFFs came from a vintage YG band. It's large and in charge. Ring, as are most projects I complete.

As for the huge hit....well it's my biggest, most time intensive, energy intensive and certainly the most expensive project to date....and not a sparkly. Came in the form of a positive preggo test.

Congratulations Freke. When I got pregnant with my third, I took about ten pregnancy tests. He was a surprise after my other two. Good luck on your pregnancy, and get lots of rest!

Be glad that you already have lots of beautiful sparklies, as children have a way of cutting into your "discretionary spending budget" , but they are soooo very worth it.
