All,

If this has already been asked, please point me to the right direction.

The carat weight of the center stone in my three stone is .59.

However, the measurement is 5.46 x 5.45 x 4.24 mm.

So, what does that mean? Are those proportions good or bad for that weighted stone?

Thanks!

If I'm understanding the questions correctly--carat weight is exactly what it means...the actual weight of the diamond. But carat weight does not equal size. For a regular .50ct diamond it should be around 5mm so being that your diamond is slightly bigger at .59ct would equate to the larger size at 5.46mm roughly. Everything is normal so it is not cut too deep or shallow.

Did that answer it for you?

First, are you talking about a round brilliant? I assume so.

It faces up (spread) just fine for it's weight. But... really the question you want to be asking is about spread with a RB. you want to be asking about light performance.

Is it graded by a reputable lab (GIA or AGS). If so, what are the table, depth, crown angle and pavillion angle measurements?

If it is ungraded, or graded by a different lab... and you have NOT bought, it I would reconsider the purchase.

I've already bought it and had it reset. Didn't come with any paperwork. It's a RB. Thanks!
