I am seeing the beautiful detail on your yellow diamond, it has such a nice golden tone to it its is totally lovely and I adore it. The yellow pave is delicious... Heck, the whole ring is dreamy!! THanks for posting more! and the Tsavorite is beautiful as well. I love Tsavorites MUCH more than emeralds....

Thanks so much again for showing new pics. I LOVE yr FY stone, it's such a rich intense yellow yummy colour

. Mine is nowhere near this colour, or this size for that matter

. I'm already thinking of upgrading the stone to a 2ct, since the 1.52ct is just sooooo teeny. Not sure how hubby will feel about it though, haven't plucked up enough courage to ask him!

LOVE yr new hoop earrings. It's funny (not ha ha, strange), this type of earrings tend nots to look so nice on me but I just luuuurve them on others, not sure why. They're very blingy and suit you very welll.

Thank you! I''ve only seen it on this website and have not been able to figure it out. Now I feel kind of silly!

I''m with you on the Tsavorites - actually if you''re lucky enough to have a high quality emerald that doesn''t have black or white inclusions - it would look pretty much like a Tsavorite! How I ended up with the ring is actually kind of a funny story. They were actually a pair of earrings and I loved them. They sat in the jewelry store for a couple of years and finally one day I said I really love them, but I only want one and I want it as a ring. So he took the post and clip off and made it into a ring!

Glad you liked the pics! I would still love to see your stone, but considering all the trouble I had taking pics I can see why it would be hard to get a nice shot of a loose stone - it''s also hard to have the lighting so that it photographs the way it looks in real life!

I wonder if once your diamond is set and has the yellow cup underneath it how much darker the stone will look? I think it might be pretty substantial.

I hope it goes well if you can work up the courage to ask hubby for an upgrade, because I know how tricky that can be! I don''t know if you''ve ever done anything like I have by "settling" for something that wasn''t exactly what I wanted. Every time I do that, I end up not wearing it and then trading it in or selling it.

I''ve got an idea that may help just in case he decides not to go along with that idea. How about increasing the size of the melee to all 2 pointers instead of 1 pointers? I guess I thought of it since I recently increased the size of the melee in my halo in my wedding ring. (I guess you probably saw the original one back in 2006 - but I''m not really sure!)

Oh and thanks for the compliments on my earrings - I wanted something I could wear during the day but also looked good at night. My David Yurman earrings that I wear during the day are getting old and I''m sick of them and most of my other earrings would be a little too dressy for day. I don''t have a set of studs, but if I had your gorgeous ones I would wear them every day for sure! Have you gotten jackets or drops to wear with them to change the look when you want to?

I just saw some of yours in the halo thread and I think yours are also magnificent!!! Your tanzanite halo is gorgeous and love your smoky quartz as well! It is very similar to mine and it seems like even though quartz is common I have not seen a lot of brown quartz rings. I just always figure people don''t like brown as much as I do!

By the way your pear with the yellow halo is stunning! May I ask how large the pear is? I''d love to have a pear again - I traded mine in years ago for my RB.

What a beautiful pear and it is just amazing with the yellow diamond halo! I really need (well I guess want is a better word!) a pear again. I haven''t had one in 11 years and it may be time to have another one. They also face up so big - which I love!

Your smoky quartz is also gorgeous! I know I love mine and can''t believe how similar ours are! One thing that has happened recently to mine is that because it is a "softer" stone than some of my other rings I have put a slight nick in one of the facets. I was going to have it fixed, but the jeweler said I might be better waiting until I do it again since it is likely to happen.

My main problem is that I cannot seem to talk without using my hands! I messed up my Oliva diamond band four times due to my inability to talk without moving my hands. I only figured it out after the second time it happened and I realized that both times it happened (cracked a baguette) I had been at a bar with a granite counter top. I was recently at physical therapy and the therapist was working on me and asking me questions at the same time. I, of course, was moving my hands while talking. She asked me to keep still because she needed me to be still while she was working on my arm. We went through three more times of me not being able to talk without moving my arms and I finally said I can''t answer any more questions until you''re done with my arm!

So I guess it''s a good thing you don''t wear it as much so you won''t nick the stone!

Also wanted to say I saw that wonderful pic of your hand with all your rings on! Wow! I''m really bad in that if I don''t wear things for a while, I just trade them in or sell them. I have a couple of things I want to get rid of now, but because they are designer pieces and of course, ridiculously overpriced, I have a feeling I''m going to have to just keep them.

No unfortunately, it does not have the diamonds on the sides, which I really did want. The only reason I got it without the diamonds on the side is that one of the jewelers I buy from (and used to work for) has a big sale once a year in February. They put things on sale and certain things are up to 70% off! I called and found out Bedat was 50% off and I decided that since I have been wanting that watch for 5 years I was not going to miss out on this. They had the 18K gold version with the diamonds on the side and they also had the No. 3 with the more square face that was loaded up, but I already have a gold watch and wanted the stainless version and the elongated face really looked better on my small wrists. I can have them added if I want, but for now I have gotten used to it the way it is and I really do love it. Have you seen it when it is on the black grosgrain strap? Looks amazing!
