Hi, your username is funny! Just don't buy a diamond in that condition!

I'd recommend starting over and reading a bit in the knowledge section of this site. EGL is not a reliable lab and we would recommend limiting your search to GIA Excellent cut stones or AGS Ideal. We can help you once you narrow down what you want.

I know Egl isn't a reliable source but the problem is finding something in my price range with the specs as you know is def a problem but I will keep looking. That username is from my college days lol I always get a laugh out of it. Thanks again and back to the drawing board lol

The EGL G looks better than the EGL H, but the cut is not excellent, and it faces up small for a 1 ct, more like a .85ish stone. the GIA ones have no pictures.

I was starting to notice that they were looking smaller than what I was paying for if that makes any sense. The reason I'm going with excel is because I'm upgrading to a bigger diamond from the .75 one I have to one that is no smaller than 1 caret. I appreciate all the assistance.

the above comment is in your price range .
When purchasing EGL stone you are paying for a stone that is not what it truly is by a couple of grades Therefore if you bought a GIA or AGS stone that is slightly graded less it would probably equal to EGL but is exactly what you are paying for. You see if you bought a GIA stone with the same stats as the EGL you would pay more because of EGL looser parameters you are actually paying more for less

The diamond Im upgrading is a GIA H VVS2 and would trying to locate something in the same range. I never thought about looking at lower grade ones.

What Heidi is saying is that you're already looking at lower ones. An EGL VVS G/H is probably actually a GIA VS I/J

I found 3 more I liked but just waiting in Excel to scope them for me

I wouldn't trust a company that has EGL certs for a start.
For princess cut I would get VS2 or SI1 and a higher colour because inclusions hide better in the crown of a princess cut as there is a lot of scintillation, obviously don't get a inclusion in the table but by going lower on the clarity you should be able to get a higher colour at least F for princess cut in my opinion is good as princess cut needs to be whiter as there is less white light return than a brill.
Try and get a depth of around 70-72.
