ALL diamonds have grain, so if you look in the right direction can you only see it with a high power microscope or
can it not be seen at all after the diamond is cut? Can it be seen with a loupe. Not speaking about diamonds with internal graining as clarity but all
diamonds.
Thanks. I was more speaking about seeing grain as in grain direction but after more reading I see that any
grain lines are as a result of dislogded atoms so it would be a clarity characteristic. Grain is invisible in a perfect
diamond and really used by cutters.
