Can you help me figure out what type of stone cut this is?

Hoping someone on this forum can help me. I fell in love with an antique/vintage ring that is no longer available. The stone is absolutely mesmerizing and I was wondering what type of cut it is because it's quite unusual and beautiful.

Appreciate the help! I missed out on the ring but if I can find a stone (or ring) like this, I'd be one happy gal. :appl:

Thanks - Fab

It also looks kind of like a skinny oval rose cut diamond...

It's an antique oval, and that's about all I can tell from those pictures. It might be rose cut, but I can't see it well enough to know. There are also stones that are called movals around here which are like marquise with rounded ends. Those work well as elongated ovals, as well. Here are some examples, but this seller, Jewels by Grace, often has them and other antique stones. She also has many vintage and antique rings.

(I see others have posted while I was looking for stones!)
