Can u stack platinum & WG rings?

i do it once in a while. so far it hasn''t been a problem. i would be more concerned about damage to the prongs than anything else.

It seems it`s better to stay on the safe side and not mix metals...

My mother had worn a wg anniversary band with her platinum rings for more than 20 years. It has been zero problem. I think the problems would come in if the rings didn''t sit flush against one another or if there were diamonds rubbing. Other than that, it must take a very long time to cause a problem!
