I wasn''t too sure since it was 3/4 around pave and I know he quoted me $2000 for a plain solitaire... but OMG her ring is TDF!

IT really looks to be amazing! And according to my FI it is... She was there for the pick up of my ring and I know she took some pics of them together, but I would love to see it in person! I dream of an east west just like it!

CR hit it pretty much spot on. The labor was $2350. If I had gone with full cut melee Leon would have charged $1000/ct but I did single cuts which were $1500/ct. So in the end it was just about $2900 (not including tax or shipping).

I just want to say that I have seen about 3 different people commenting on your ring in random threads, all of whom wanted to replicate it! It really is amazing!

Is it just me, or is that a very reasonable price for a ring of that quality?? I would have guessed much more!

CR - I know! People are going crazy for it!!! When I first got it, I told my FI that I was a little sad it was so perfect b/c it was bound to have tons of copies now ...only partially kidding.

Dreamer - it is a TOTALLY reasonable price. It was only slightly more expensive than some of cast settings that we priced out (and in fact, significantly less than a Michael B or Daniel K).

And yes that is a totally reasonable price! Considering the craftsmanship that went into the ring and some other die casts are even MORE than what Leon asked for!

Do you think the single cuts really bring out the beauty of an old cut center?

I agree that it was a beyond reasonable price. When I compare ours and the 2 prices, I def think you got the best deal!!
Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, so I hope people replicate away on that ring. I would love to do it with a colored stone bc I know there are no more diamond rings in my future...
