I'm sure it would be beautiful in rose gold. If you didn't want to buy the setting it's in I would think Ilya would remove it. Maybe have it shipped in the setting just to be sure you like the stone. The mount is solid platinum and original. It's really gorgeous. Ask him what the options are. Super easy to work with.

I tried this ring on-the stone is beautiful! Ilya is the owner. Very reputable business and 30 day return policy. Worth a phone call if you're interested.
Honestly if I was looking for an OEC/Transitional this would be in the running.
Don't know if the color is something you would consider but this would get you a 1.68 diamond in an authentic platinum setting.

That's funny this one was actually on my watchlist and I've seen that thread! How do you think that some would look in a rose gold basket/prongs?

Yay! I think you'd ADORE that diamond. We had it on many fingers and all of us loved it!! It is almost a twin to my OEC which is a QR in colour so not sure how the RG would affect the diamond. If you called or emailed him maybe he has a RG setting he could put it in to assess the stone and how the two colours react together.

I did love that diamond! I do not need another exact diamond to match mine, but boy, did this one tempt me.....!! To me, it was a beautiful facet pattern and GREAT size for the money! Definitely get in touch! Tell him you saw it on PS! Lol

I don't know much about this type of thing other than I am a very impulsive shopper,
so very easy to sway me, THANK GOD (for my wallet) I don't go shopping with Enerchi, Woofmama and some of the
other PS ladies
Seriously, I love these ladies and I would have a ball, it will happen someday, but.....

Buuuut.....

I saw that one on Enerchi's thread, and would have seriously considered it
if I weren't already paying (forever) on something.
If I were you, and it's something you could love, I would have hit on this one the second you saw it :))

If not, the proverbial lurker's probably gonna get it now.....
That's the thing, if you wait you will be sorry with stuff like this....
"Shuffle your feet, lose your seat" is a saying of mine.

And really, can't recommend JBeg or preloved more.....
My FAVORITE pieces ever have come from those sources.... just sayin'

If you go really low in color and clarity, you can find a 2ct in that range but I don't think you will want that. I would not recommend ebay for deals unless you are experienced in diamonds and willing to take risks. Big risk big rewards ... combined with luck.

Big risk and occasionally big rewards... often no rewards at all. :errrr:

True true .... but I would never take a completely blind risk without protection or knowledge.

I certainly wouldn't recommend anyone do what I did for my OEC.
