I'm no expert but those are both beautiful stones. They each have a slightly different pattern so it would be your preference but you couldn't go wrong with either!! Nice choices! I can't wait to see the finished ring. I hope you'll post photos.

Im looking for a high quality (E/F, VS1/VS2) smaller diamond (0.85ct) for a halo engagement ring (first post). Are the inclusions on these diamonds anything to worry about? Do they look well cut to you? I think they are both beautiful, but Im no expert.

Thanks!
Both of these are very well cut, and will be very beautiful. As to the inclusions, the VS2 is most likely no problem at all, and the SI1 may not be either (and the edge inclusion can most likely be covered with a prong). It is best to call and ask Jon (the head honcho) to look at them and he will give you an honest assessment.

Ditto--they both look great! The first has longer lower girdle facets--a different look (thinner pavillion mains) which I love. Both would make for a beautiful ring.
