Bypass ring by DK

David just reset two .50 OECs that I had originally used as side stones for a Montana sapphire but they were too large for it. I found a photo of an antique bypass ring and used it for the inspiration. I've attached DKs photos as I am waiting for the ring. I love the way it turned out. The sapphire is also being reset with smaller side stones.

Ooh, I love that! I want a bypass ring-- DH gave me a sapphire bypass ring as a promise ring and it cracked (many years of wear waiting lol)...

Also, please when you get it-- hand shots. When I get my next .56 CBI, I'm going to wear it as a two stone while I save for the middle stone. Since yours are close in size, it will give me a good idea of it...

My ring arrived and it is really nice and exactly what I asked for. I will definitely get more wear from the stones in this setting than the previous one which was my goal. I wish the hands were as pretty as the ring, but regardless, here are the hand shots. Extremely cold here in Boston so please forgive the redness and the crummy phone photos.

STUNNING ring. I really love the side/profile view. I think it's wonderful that you are reworking jewelry so you'll wear it more.
