Bubbling over with excitement!!!

Hi all! I have decided to come out of lurkdom and join the land of the diamond worshippers!!

My FI and I have been engaged for six years and are finally going to tie the knot in August 08. He proposed with a gorgeous ring. Center stone is .5 princess with .25 on the sides. We went *looking* for possible wedding bands and he decided he wanted to upgrade my stone with a loose one the jeweler had in the store.

I''m so excited and impatient I can barely contain myself. Jeweler is supposed to call tomorrow or Friday. I''m going crazy here!!

Unfortunately I don''t have any pictures of the current ring. My hard drive crashed and I had not backed up my pictures...and the jeweler has it now! It was shiny like a beauty!

I talked with the jeweler today and I can pick up my ring tomorrow between 12 and 1!!!

OMG. It''s pathetic how excited I get over a diamond ring.

Center stone is .7 and sides are .1 each. Upgraded and not yet a carat.....maybe in 6 more years but I LOVE it.

We were amazed at the difference in size between 1/2 carat (that I had) and this one. I tried on a ring with a 1 carat stone but for some reason it looked too big on my hand...almost too big that it may have been fake!
