After months of searching these are my two options. Brian Gavin Signature (link and cert pics below, ASET, Idealscope, H&A at link) versus GIA local stone (link to other post and cert pic below)

Local option is beautiful in person and is a GIA Ex cut, Ex polish, VG symm, 1.21, G, Si2, HCA 1.1 https://www.pricescope.com/community/threads/true-eye-clean-si2-need-some-input.195847/

Since other post asked about above GIA stone I am mainly asking about this Brian Gavin Signature

Do any of you have experience with this Brian Gavin Sig. line? What do you think of this stone? It scores 1.6 on HCA (Vg, Ex, Ex, VG). Do the images all look good? I was set on the GIA Ex 1.21 from other post because its local and I no for a fact its beautiful but after taxes these are about same price and the brian gavin is Si1 vs si2 and triple 000 vs GIA X cut, X polish, VG symm.

I'm torn between the two. The size for either works for me as I am not that concerned that the GIA is 6.85mm vs the AGS is 6.71mm.

Well, naturally the BG stone will be smaller since it is 1.12 cts. But I'd take the better cut stone any day and I'd far rather have an SI1 over an SI2.

Can someone really tell the difference between a 6.85mm vs 6.71mm diamond?

If size is not a factor, this one is a no brainer: BG Signature all the way. SI1 improvement over SI2 + guaranteed top-quality cut make this decision easy.

In addition, BGD offers an upgrade program, while the other vendor may not.

Given that both diamonds cost around the same, I would go with Brian Gavin.

Yes, I would rather have this one. I did not see the inclusion in the middle of the other one until now.

This looks nice but I am not open to H color. G is the absolute lowest and I have viewed a large number of all these colors side by side in different cuts including triple 000 and triple X. I am very color sensitive and ring has F side stones so H will not work.

So you dont recommend the Brian Gavin Sig 1.124 Si1 G because of the crystal?
