Bought a loose diamond...now what?

Hi Guys,

Bit the bullet and purchased a loose stone from b2cjewels.com

Just wondering your recommendations with what to do next to verify the authenticity/quality of the stone.

The stone is GIA certified and is said to be laser etched with with number.

So loupe it and check that the laser inscription and certificate match. Then either set it and have an independent appraiser write you an appraisal for insurance and always verify it or have it looked at by independent appraiser before setting if it makes you feel more comfortable

Ok, was planning on purchasing a loupe to double check...just making sure that was the right thing to do.


Then having it set in an e-ring yay!
