Blue Spinel Halo Ring

So it was our first anniversary last weekend, and I finally got one of my lovely blue spinels cut by Dan Stair (can't recommend him enough, fabuolous to deal with, and I love all the stones I have from him) set into a ring.

The stone is 1.44ct/6.99mm blue in daylight, a purple colour under incandescent light. My husband had the setting custom made (to my specs of course - provided with inspiration pics in a word doc) and I think it turned out beautifully!

May I ask who made the setting, it looks very well crafted..
And the stone looks like the facets of an OEC - is that what you were aiming for?
