Bling Wish List 2024

In saying that... I have been forever toying with the idea if I had extra funds... what would you do?

1. Upgrade my OMC.. an OMC/OEC that is at least 10mm/5cts is on the list

OR

2. Spend the funds on a few pieces:

• A Cartier love bracelet/cuff
• Riviere necklace 12ctw
• Tennis bracelet 6ctw
• Lab grown diamond earrings 4ctw
• Lab grown oval diamond 6ct ish
• Custom antique inspired bangle (this might not make the list with the budget)

I don't know if lab diamonds are mind clean for me yet. This also might be my bling wishlist for 2025 hahaha.

I'm loving everyone's updates so far and we're not even halfway through the year yet!

My update is I ended up with option 1! A 5.68ct omc that's 11mm! That's it for me for the year hahaha everything else will be deferred until I'm working again.

Wow, this is so exciting @maryjane04!! I can't wait to see it! Has it been set yet, and if not do you have any setting ideas? Happy for you!

Thank you @junebug17 it has been set and is arriving shortly. I am not a designer at all and somehow we got there in terms of design that I think looks good and is practical.

Gasp and swoon!!! Oh wow, it's gorgeous @maryjane04, you must be beyond excited! The side details are beautiful. Love everything about this ring and can't wait for hand shots!

@junebug17 I had a lot of help from fellow PS'ers with the design so I can't take all the credit. I'm actually really pleased with how it turned out. Hopefully it will arrive next week and maybe I'll need to get a new phone to take good photos of the ring

Just posted this in the SMTB lab version. It's my new perfectly dainty diamond tennis necklace. It's a twinkling firey little chain of diamonds around my neck for every day. The necklace was my entire wish list for 2024, it's only May so guess I'll just have to add more!!

1. Reset a diamond necklace. The dbty style is not for me due to the flipping. Don’t know if the reset will be a bracelet or necklace.

Original jewelry pieces with melee — not high quality but they were gifts and had sentimental value:




First attempt at resetting. The necklace bugged me when it flipped; also the diamonds stopped halfway up:



Latest reset:



It still flips but I don’t care because the links are pretty on both sides. Also the diamonds go all the way around.

2. Redesign my mother’s emerald ring. The shank is broken and side diamonds have fallen out. The emerald is small (4mm?) and not the best quality but the ring was Mom’s so it will get VIP treatment.

Still hoping to do mom’s emerald this year.

3. Complete my collection of traditional shapes in EGD! I like smaller stones so this goal is totally achievable in 2024.
