My ering is finished after months of planning and waiting

This is the pic that has just been sent to me by my jeweler I can''t wait to pick it up.

Oh, I can''t believe that I forgot to post the specs (I blame it on over excitement!)

The ring is 1.38tcw and constructed of 18 K unplated palladium white gold (only the prongs have been dipped in rhodium at my request).

The centre stone is a 0.76ct E VS2 emerald cut, this is surrounded by my oversized halo of baguettes and rounds.

The EC is full of life and it sparkles like crazy!

Whilst I was putting together ideas for the ering I was really torn between either a haloed EC of about 0.75 ct or a 1 ct EC solitaire. This is was the compromise as I know that I don''t want to ever upgrade the ring because the symbolism behind it is more important to me than the actual rocks (although they are prreeeeeeeeeety

)

That of course does not rule out anniversary rings in the future though

I know it''s been a while since I first posted my ering, but since that time it''s been back to the jeweler to have some little things fixed and I just got a new digital camera today! YAY! So I just had to share some better photos taken with my new camera (perfect excuse to try out the macro function)

What do you guys think I should go for as a wedding band? I''m thinking maybe the WF Danielle with all diamonds or a bezel band with alternating 1pt and 3 pt diamonds or maybe a band in the style of the tiffany swing? So many choices again!
