I''ve seen it on stacking bands - a small jeweler where I used to live carried them. I don''t care for it, simply because I like the metal to enhance the fluidity of the setting rather than provide for contrast. Also, it looks a little costume-y to me, and my taste is for fine jewelry to have a different look than costume pieces. My new stacker has yellow rhodium dipped prongs, and so far I like it, although I have read reviews where people said it had the potential to rub away.

Count just go with black ceramic carbide if you like the look. From what I understand it lasts forever and is cheaper too!

I really love the Frank Gehry Torque stacking ring in "black gold" from T&Co. I don''t know if it''s black rhodium plated, but that would make sense...I was wondering what they would use for it but haven''t gotten around to asking. Depending on the piece, I think it could look either stunning or blah. Did you have anything specific in mind?

I seen a ring at my local jewelers it was rubies and diamonds, not alot of them, but the had the lack rhodium finish and I got to admit I really liked it, I think it depends on the piece, I think it would look better on some the others.
