Big thanks to......Bangles!

Here''s the new yummy 1ctw bangle my friend got yesterday, is just to die for! Myself, Alj, and one or my good friends went into Boston yesterday and she came home with this yummy new bangle. Boy does it sparkle like crazy! She had a gift cert and the kind sales gal Catherine at DeScenza Diamonds took quite a bit off the original price so it really was a steal!
I have to say that for a B&M they had really great stones at really good prices. We were VERY surprised at how great the quality of stones were. So if anyone in the Boston area wants to go to a good place this would be one I would check out.

We found this small yellow bezel earring and decided to slip it into my jackets I was wearing and VOILA!
Alj and I loved this look sooo much that we ordered some nice blue sapphires in a WG bezel that we should have in a week or two! Can''t wait for those!!

Oh my goodness, is that asscher in a baguette halo? I see the rounds in the outer halo, but it looks like a mini version of the Daniel K baguette halo inside.

Yes it is! That is a tiny little asscher in the middle! The rest is bags and traps.

I do not know the specs on it other than 1ctw nice white stones with no visiable inclusions and blingereffic! Sorry....they told my friend they would send her an appraisal in a few weeks, so I''ll let you know.

Kt and I had a great time on this excursion; was fun to see so much of it in person.

It''s so funny, too, how your experience really depends so much on who waits on you. When we arrived, the first woman seemed disinterested and didn''t really give us the warm fuzzies. However, when we moved down the counter and then wanted to see the bracelets, the gal there was just WONDERFUL!

Catherine seemed to really get that we are super-interested in jewelry and seemed to vicariously enjoy our little whirlwind of trying things on. She even began to say "Oh, you have to see THIS!" and would pull pieces out. She would make a GREAT Pricescoper!

I have to say, we were both really amazed at how many of their stock pieces had quality make stones in them. Of course, we louped the daylights out of that bangle, but it wasn''t until we started really shooting pictures of it that we could see just how nicely cut the stones were. Amazing surprise, and the pricing was quite comparable with some of the online vendors.

I think this place would make a great option for those in the greater Boston area who just aren''t able to convince their FIs to get comfy with purchasing online.
