My fiancee's engagement ring is now fitting too loosely and I think we might want to get it resized. What's the best/easiest/cheapest way to do this? The ring is a 4 prong white gold solitaire band from WhiteFlash. Does WhiteFlash offer free resizing? I assume we would have to mail it back. Also, I'm not sure what size she needs now.

Do you think it’s from the cooler weather?

You could leave the size as is, and just add sizing beads or a “speed bump” to snug it up. Also, stacking with bands helps

As a temporary solution (if it’s just weather related for eg) is a product called “Ring Snuggies”. They are just a small, clear soft piece of plastic tube that you can “clip” over the ring shank to make the ring smaller. These are obviously very simple to remove if you don’t want/ need them any more.
About $6 a pack on eBay.

As far as I know, WF offers free resizing within a year of purchase, so you should just reach out to them to inquire. I would advice that she tries the ring with a band. I had one of my first rings resized when I wore it alone in the cold months, but once I stacked it with a band, it was too snug. I like the snuggies suggestion, that is what I use in the winter.

If she intends to stack it with a wedding band (or two), it might be better to leave the size as it is. Perhaps try checking the size at a nearby jeweler's? Tell them you're browsing for wedding bands and take the chance to see how it feels when stacked.

it is an easy job for any goldsmith to downsize a diamond engagement ring, I would not do any temporary or other trics, simply resize.
They cut and soldgier again and you will not see a trace.
When she will go to a jewelry store for that they will mesure her size on the spot.

Thanks all. To answer the question I think the ring is too big now because she lost some weight. And because even though it's October it was almost 80 degrees yesterday here in New York. Curious, why would stacking the e-ring with a wedding band make the e-ring fit more snuggly?
