At first glance, I like the ASET better of no.2 and it seems to be a slightly more symmetrical looking stone to my eye, and a marginally nicer shape overall, but I am sure there will be some who won't agree with me.

like 2 and 4 better, but I'm also a fan of squarer cushions.

no. 2 looks a bit more asymmetrical under the table than 4

1.06/first stone l/w 5.91 6.12
1.05/second stone l/w 6.02 6.21

Unless i am badly mistaken there are only two stones two images of the first one and two images of the second one, they have just appeared on screen a different shape to confuse everyone.

Did you get a video made of both of them? That is another really good way to see which one YOUR eye prefers, after all it's going to be about what you like, not what we like.

Correct arkieb only two stones the ags images are 90degrees from aset for some reason as well. Sorry. About the same proportions #2 slightly larger spread.

Yep, I worked it out. See if you can get them to video them side but side, there isn't much it in that is another great way to see which one is more appealing visually. There have been lots of times where people put up two or three or four cushions and the one I go for isn't the same one that appeals to others, some people like different shaped ones for example and so on.... The deeper one might look more appealing in real life than the second one as well, I would be interested to compare them.

Video side by side, not yet I've seen them both in separate videos all avc look great in my eyes I just want it to be perfect for the lady. She deserves it.

Can you post the links to both videos? I can put both up on my screen next to one another. They will usually make a side by side for you if you are in doubt.

1.06 is far left looks slightly round at top not sure if camera angle or not

I think the smaller stone is the better cut. I like the small table better as well. So the 1.05 is STILL the winner!!!! But look it's up to you get them to do a side by side that is the BEST way and then post that and tell us which one you like!!! You can't go wrong with either stone, they will both be beautiful.

Smaller ct weight or smaller spread I put the videos out of order the 1.06 or the 1.05?
Smaller ct= larger spead. larger ct=smaller spread now I've confused myself darn rocks. Haha

I like the smaller carat weight one. The one with the smaller table, usually I automatically go for longer shaped cushions but in this case I like the square one. Yep you putting the videos the wrong way confused me. I did pick the same stone consistently. I like the 1.05 the best, my ASET reading skills weren't rubbish after all. It's the nicer of the two stones both in the images and in real life.

I thought you liked #2 (1.05) all along I'm talking myself in circles. Sorry I really am

Table 46.7% g1.05
Table 51.2% g1.06

No, it was me I confused myself. I liked no.2 at first from the images only. Then I saw the videos and mistakenly thought I had gotten it wrong and that the video of the 1.05 was of the 1.06 and vice versa. Once I had realise which video imaged belong to which stone, I figured out it's the 1.05 the smaller more square shaped stone ie stone no.2 that is the clear winner. I like the a smaller table, some people do some don't. People that go for larger tabled stones argue they face up a bit bigger on the hand. I would argue the smaller table will give it more fire, its just a combination, deeper stone + a smaller table that most (and I say most generally) people that go for old cuts prefer.

Now get them to make a side by side video and see if you think so as well.

Will do ill keep you posted pun intended. Thanks for your help
