I'm looking for a solitaire cushion cut engagement ring. I would like to spend a maximum of $3500 (on a tight budget). Where should i go to get the best "bang for your buck"

most people prefer modern or antique styles, the crushed ice dont have the same kind of light return, and usually arent peoples favorite. of course, some people like it, but if you doont know, id probably avoid it.

Also, what kind of solitaire? What color metal??
