It's funny, I was just telling my 92 year old mother today, to stop waiting to wear her dressier clothes for a "special" occasion. They rarely, if ever come for her anymore. She agreed. And then I told her I feel the same about my good jewelery. The diamond ring she inherited me early, gets worn around the house, cleaning (not scrubbing with abrasives), doing dishes, sleeping. So does my recut antique Aquamarine. One of her friends that is no longer with us, gave me that advice right before I got the diamond ring. She said, life is short, special occasions are rare. Wear it, enjoy it. Don't let it sit in a box. I took her advice, and I'm glad I did. So I would say the same to you. Wear them all regularly, enjoy them. They are beautiful. ;))

Gorgeous pieces. I agree, wear them as often as you can wherever you can. I'd rock any of those to the grocery store. LOL I don't have any special occasion pieces, I rotate through them daily. I'm not getting any younger & I can't take them with me. :P2

I just posted from my heart. Anyway, I hope you come back to remark on the pretty baubles (besides yours) that have been posted.

Red spinel with 1 ct. diamonds, Pink Tourmaline with 1 ct. diamonds, Tanzanite with 1.5 ct. diamonds, bracelet is 5 ct diamonds. I do wear plenty of good jewelry every day, but these baubles are of a particular quality, that I keep them at the bank for safety, so I take these, and a few others, out for occasions. Usually, emeralds come out on Christmas, but this year, I chose these. I absolutely love colored stones, far more than diamonds. It is just who I am.

Oh, you absolutely did not offend me in any way! I have not been receiving the emails notifying me that there was a response, so if I dont come to look, I dont know that anyone responded. This is a forum for fun and indulgence, so it would be difficult to offend. Also, have been super busy with preparations for Christmas day. I wish you a Joyous and love filled Christmas!
