AVR set by BGD

Hello PSers ,
usually I am a lurker but I had to share .I bought a 1 ct AVR K/SI2 last month from GOG .then sent it off to BGD to be set in an Adwar halo ring with their signature 1.5 pointer melee . I got it today and love it ! high polish 18 kt WG ,claw prongs .the ring is very bright and sparkly .

my 5 year daughter saw my ring and said :looks like an earring jacket ! I thought wow my household is true PS one ! (got stud jackets from IDJ last month ) .

the K looks very white in most lights .cant tell the difference between the F/G melee . only from the side I can notice the color .

Very very nice. It looks great on your hand, too.

Its fun to see more of these AVRs. for a long time they were the "poor step-sister" to the AVC and did not get much love. I always though they were great and your pics show the cut nicely. I am biased of course in my appreciation, I think that the cut on the AVR is very similar to my own true antique, which I think is pretty snazzy

I love love love AVR's but i can't invest in one right now, so i'm admiring the ones owned by PS friends!!! The faceting is TDF... I think you made a great choice, both with the diamond and the setting Wear your ring in good health!
