Fleur, you''re not the oldest! I''ll be 49 (first marriage) and my fiancee will be 60 (second marriage). We will DEFINITELY survive (and really, really enjoy) the honeymoon!!
Good, glad I''m not the only one in that age range. All the girls in the bridal shop looked 22 and even my bridesmaids said they were feeling old!Date: 6/16/2008 6:18:32 AM

I was 22 and he was 23 when we got married- 2nd anniversary coming up this October. Getting married young was a great choice for us; we''re growing up together and it''s wonderful to have a partner in crime. I never thought I would get married young- my parents got married right out of h.s. (my sister was on the way) and they divorced and remarried other people and divorced again. Marriage was not high on my list of things to do- but when you find that person...as Harry says so well, ''You want the rest of your life to start as soon as possible''.
I think the most important thing is finding the right person to marry- if that happens at 20, great! If it happens at 40, fabulous! There''s no expiration date on love.
Your post just reminded me of a friend of mine. When asked her age, she responds, "Oh, I''m flirty-two." She''s still wondering what she''s going to say in her 40''s.Date: 6/20/2008 11:22:11 AM

LOL, Gypsy! As I was reading that I got to the highlighted section and thought for a minute you were embarrassed to say because he''s actually like 50 years your senior or something. Hee!Date: 6/16/2008 7:21:27 PM

Three weeks after my 33 birthday. John is... um. Older? LOL. He''s about 2 years older. He just had a birthday in February and, as terrible as it sounds, I''ve lost track of how old he is.
