Wedding Average Bride Age

I remember reading an article in the paper stating that the average ages for women and men when when married are 26 and 28, respectively. I think the article was printed about 10 months ago because it was just a few weeks before our wedding. I remember looking over at D and saying "Well, hon, it looks like we are perfectly average".

Since my FI proposed on my 35th birthday and we are getting married 1 year and 11 days later, I will be 36 when I do the deed. He will be just one month shy of 42 when we get married next month! I can''t believe it''s almost here!

When we get married (6/20/09) I'll be 26...about 3 weeks shy of 27. FI will be 32...about 3.5 weeks shy of 33!

I am suprised how low the ages are, I find that most brides in my area are at least 25 but really closer to around about 30.
 
We''re not engaged yet, but we''re planning on getting married in 2010 (or maybe 2011), which will put me at 26 or 27 and him at 32. (We''re 24 and 30 now, respectively).

We''re both 21 now and we''ll be 24 and 23 when we get married. So we''re fairly young too. Hence the loooooong engagement! That and we live in a large city so the good places book up fast!
 
I'm 20 right now, got engaged when I was 19, and my FI said that I have to be 21. We are getting married 4 months after my 21st birthday. Unless we get married at the court house in Dec. so that way we can get more $$ back to help pay for our wedding, lol. Not the deciding factor I promise! My FI will be 31 at the time of the wedding. Now I feel like the baby! :)
