Average Bride Age

I remember reading an article in the paper stating that the average ages for women and men when when married are 26 and 28, respectively. I think the article was printed about 10 months ago because it was just a few weeks before our wedding. I remember looking over at D and saying "Well, hon, it looks like we are perfectly average".

When we get married (6/20/09) I'll be 26...about 3 weeks shy of 27. FI will be 32...about 3.5 weeks shy of 33!

I am suprised how low the ages are, I find that most brides in my area are at least 25 but really closer to around about 30.

We''re both 21 now and we''ll be 24 and 23 when we get married. So we''re fairly young too. Hence the loooooong engagement! That and we live in a large city so the good places book up fast!

I'm 20 right now, got engaged when I was 19, and my FI said that I have to be 21. We are getting married 4 months after my 21st birthday. Unless we get married at the court house in Dec. so that way we can get more $$ back to help pay for our wedding, lol. Not the deciding factor I promise! My FI will be 31 at the time of the wedding. Now I feel like the baby!
