That is nothing Pandora, I will be 43 and my ''husband'' will be 33. Feel really old now! I was trying dresses on this past Saturday and the girl with an appointment at the same time as me must have been at least 15! Still who cares, I am happy and I am going to enjoy every minute

Now it's me, but I know there are some younger ones on this board. I turned 23 last month.

As far as the average goes, I read that in Canada the average age of a first time bride is 29 (30 in my province). It's probably similar in the States.

I''ll be 26, 2 months short of 27. I think the overall average in the US is right around 27 or 28, but I also think if you break it down by region, certain areas have higher averages (ie., Northeast).

Anchor, the US actually has the lowest (or one of the lowest?) ages at first marriage among developed countries. Check out this handy chart! It says in 2007 average age of women was 25.

27 and its funny because I was asking my fiance if im going to be an old bride. He said of course not and to be honest is better to be older anyways. Your more sure of what you want and have been out there long enough to not feel like your missing out on anything.
