Not at all.
I am currently choosing between

OR

It is going to be set on a rose gold band. Which would you pick?

Both gorgeous! I'd pick the L, personally - I like the extra size, and I think a little warmth compliments the older style perfectly *and* I think it would look amazing in rose gold!
Have you seen Haven's ring by chance? She has an O/P coloured old mine (actual antique, not one of GOG's branded AVs) in rose gold and it's positively edible https://www.pricescope.com/community/threads/its-here-its-here-my-2-30-ct-omb-antique-cushion-upgrade.158760/
And Noel's OEC in a rose gold 10prong solitaire https://www.pricescope.com/community/threads/my-10-prong-antique-setting-engagement-ring.81300/

That's harder! Well - it's easy for me - I'm much more of a rounds person than I am a cushions person, so I'd pick the round, but you might like cushions better! Same L/W diameter too, despite the weight difference...
Do they have any lower coloured AVRs? Ohh they do! *This* is my pick http://www.goodoldgold.com/diamond/7137/ someone needs to rescue it from that white metal head!

They are all beautiful stones but you will be wearing it for a very long time, a lifetime, unless you chose to upgrade down the road so I would hate to see you get caught up in the all the excitement (very very easy to do) and regret your decision down the road. Have you chosen a setting for the gorgeous stone? You mentioned rose gold, an impeccable choice I must say but have you decided if it will be a solitaire? or a halo? bezel maybe? Often times how you chose to set the stone will determine which stone is best for you. Congratulations and Best wishes! The stones you have chosen so far are gorgeoouuuusss!!!
