I recently bought this bracelet from a top rated seller on ebay. It's listed as vintage. I've been burned with counterfeit pieces before so I paid extra for ebay authentication and it passed.. but now that I have it actually in hand, I'm starting to doubt that it's authentic.
One of the chain mesh strands is a good inch longer than all the others. It doesn't match, hangs down, and looks really obvious when you wear it. All of the other 19 strands are the same length
The stamping is also crooked on the latch. Is this on par for a vintage piece (I'm not even sure when these came out and were discontinued) or did the authenticator at ebay mess up? If it's authentic, what do I even do with the chain that's super long and out of place? Unfortunately the closest Tiffany store to me is 4 hours away.
Thanks for any help/advice.
