Asscher: practicing with iphone clip on macro lens.

I bought an aukley clip on 2 in 1 macro/fisheye lens from amazon for 24.99 and a selfie LED clip on light for 12.00 at Amazon.

I'm practicing taking diamond photos.

This is my 1.52
Asscher Cut, Very Good-cut, G-color, VS1-clarity from Blue Nile. The setting is platinum knife edge..

I already had the other 2 rings: channel set. I'd have to go look them up to see what they are. I don't mind the spaces between the rings because I wear all of my rings in a variety of ways. I also have a platinum wedding band, comfort setting. Sometimes I only wear the wedding band, sometimes only one channel set by itself, etc. I like to have the choice.

This is regular bedroom light.


With LED selfie light:
I'm bloated today, hence the fat red finger... you will see when I switch the rings to my pinky. Any dots you see on the diamod are dirt I need to get off.

Taking a break for a minute to soak and get the last little bit of grime off the diamond: it's bothering me. I want to try and get even better photos.

Meanwhile, this is the set up I'm working with: I have zero idea why this photo is upside down. I went back and made the original upside down in the hope this would then be right side up, but alas, it is still upside down.
