Are these prongs too wide?

Do any fellow PS'ers have an opinion on the width of these pave prongs? I'm really nervous that at 1.8mm they will overwhelm the stone from a profile and angle view. I really wanted a dainty and delicate setting.

Any thoughts on whether or not I can skinny down the prongs?

I think they are exaggerated since this appears to be a drawing.

I agree with Marcy. Seems the CADs seems to be a bit heavier than what they actually are. I think it wouldn't hurt to tell the designer that you want them dainty though. Nice design!

I believe CADs are always more clunky and less-finessed than the final metal ring.
